Jim Dawg is best known for his ability to perform various musical styles with ease and excellence.  He can switch gears in an instant delivering what audiences want to hear from the haunting sound of his bluesy slide guitar to classic rock of the Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, Motown, Funk and Country.  He is one of the most versatile entertainers on the music circuit today.

Jim  is an extremely dedicated musician who has shared the stage with many legends throughout his career.  He has opened shows for the Gregg Allman Band, Grand Funk Railroad, Three Dog Night, and many more.  He has performed on stage with greats such as Percy Sledge, The Platters, The Drifters, and the late Keith Whitley and Vern Gosdin to name a few.  

Jim Dawg entertained audiences  for  8 years at the National Shrimp Fest in Gulf Shores, Alabama, The Heritage Day Festival, and numerous Harley Davidson and BMW  state motorcycle Rallies. He has also played Lucy Buffet's famous LuLu's at Homeport Marina in Gulf Shores, and numerous races at Talladega Superspeedway.  Jim has played the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville as a solo artist as well as a sideman.

Over the years he has entertained audiences throughout the southeast. He performs at festivals, bike rallies, conventions, corporate functions, nightclubs, wedding receptions .  Just about any type of special event that you might have.
